SDL France is currently looking to expand its pool of experienced **English and German to FRENCH POST-EDITORS** for upcoming work. We are expecting millions of words and need resources for long-term collaboration.
What Post-editing means: the source text will be translated by an advanced machine (LanguageWeaver – SDL technology). Post-editing is intended to achieve three basic goals:
1. Correcting grammar mistakes
2. Correcting word order mistakes
3. Correcting wrong terminology
As you have post-edited your text, we will give feedbacks to the machine, it will be leveraged and the quality of translation will subsequently improve. Hence post-editing work is more time consuming at the early stages of the project but becomes much easier later on as MT output improves. Our productivity on advanced projects can be around 4000 words a day.
You will work from home and you must work with SDLx or SDL Trados Studio 2009.
