My name is Mikaela Ellenwood, I am a project manager at SDL International. We are a localization and translation company servicing many organizations around the world. One of our clients is looking to expand their operations in Sub-Saharan Africa—they are a polling company and they conduct surveys door-to-door to collect data and information.
They are requesting two languages in Mozambique: Emakhuwa and Xichangana
Unfortunately I have been unable to locate linguists so far and have exhausted most of the venues that I am aware of. Would you have a language division or any information to point me in the right direction to locate people who are native-speakers or at least fluent in those languages to help us with this project? We have the original survey available in both Portuguese and English for translation, so if you have a native speaker for either of the languages who only speaks Portuguese, it would still be a great help to us. This work will be compensated, just let us know what the linguist would charge for this translation.
