The team at Lionbridge Technologies with solution centres
in 25 countries worldwide is recruiting part-time
self-employed workers who are fluent speakers in Dutch and
English who are based in The Netherlands to join its team
of Internet Assessors.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Fluency in Dutch is essential
- We are seeking people who have access to the internet,
and are confident in using the Internet
- Background in IT is helpful but not essential
- For cultural and historical awareness purposes you must
be resident in The Netherlands for 5 consecutive years
The main aim of the work is to improve the quality of a
search engine’s results for all web users worldwide. The
work involves evaluating results of a web search, for
their appropriateness to the search query input. You will
be required to provide feedback i.e. your opinion of the
result displayed.
The hours are flexible to fit around your family and home
life, and the position is ideal for someone looking for a
work-life balance (10-20 hours per week).

Details of the project: Our client needs to translate
small texts from English to Dutch. This is the first job
we're getting from him and if we can respond with high
quality and timely translation, more larger jobs will
follow.
In order to to this work, we will need to create an
account for you in our system and you will need to use our
translation software (which is free for you). The software
runs on Windows XP/Vista.
Payment for this work, after reducing our fees is 0.056
USD/Word. We pay with PayPal (PayPal fees are on us).
