Details of the project: We're seeking experienced Brazilian Portuguese subtitlers for ongoing short drama series localization projects.
Language pair: (ZH-CN)/(EH-US) → Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR).
Position type: remote, part-time, long-term collaboration.

Special requirements to the applicants: Requirements:
Native Brazilian Portuguese speaker OR graduate in Portuguese Studies with relevant language certification. Prior study / work abroad is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of professional translation / localization experience. At least 1 year specifically in subtitling (film / TV / short-form video) OR translating web novels / comics / entertainment content. Short drama subtitling experience is highly preferred. Applications without subtitling experience will not be considered.
Must consistently deliver 40-50 minutes of subtitled content per working day and meet all project deadlines reliably.
Proficiency with industry-standard subtitling software (e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Edit, EZTitles) and deep understanding of subtitling conventions (timing, segmentation, character limits). Proven experience delivering final localized subtitle files.
