For cisplatin-ineligible patients, gemcitabine + carboplatin is one of the recommended regimens by Chinese guidelines, and the most commonly used treatment in Chinese clinical practice. In Chinese clinical practice, the treatment options for cisplatin-ineligible patients arealso limited because programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1)/programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) inhibitors are not approved for LA/mUC at this time. Paclitaxel may be used with gemcitabine with or without platinum in some cases. These regimens demonstrated an objective response rate (ORR) of up to 50%, including approximately 10% to 15% complete responses (CRs).
