Our clients include major motion-picture groups such as 20th Century Fox, Sony, Warner Bros. and Universal Studios etc. We are looking for free-lance translators for various languages to work on frequent premium projects for our clients.
Seeking freelance translators and proofreaders from English to Telugu
Please find below the main duties:
Translating from English into TELUGU
Proofreading and editing client-provided materials
Conforming existing scripts/subtitle files to precise specifications of various clients
Education background, Experience and Competencies:
Native speaker of TELUGU
Possess a strong knowledge of the English language
Should have prior translation Experience
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation/ Literature, Subtitling, Arts, Journalism/ Proofreading/ Editing experience
Computer literacy & a thorough knowledge of MS Office is a must
Resourceful, excellent time management, ability to multi task on numerous projects and meeting deadlines are some of the competencies we seek
A vivid taste for the entertainment industry/ movies, especially North American cinema and television
Other requirements:
Flexi work timings (as per the time zone & availability)
Must have access to a private machine. We discourage working on our client material over office/public computers/laptops. Access will not be granted

Details of the project: Swar Communications has joined hands with an MNC named Infotel to translate and localize numerous projects of the Government of India in Tamil language.
This is an in-house job and the job position is located at GURGAON. Hence, the translator must be either residing in Delhi-NCR or willing to relocate to Delhi-NCR.
This will be contractual job for the period of 3-months. However, the duration might increase to 6-months, depending on the quality of the work delivered and the satisfaction of the concerned Ministries.
The monthly salary will range between 20K and 25K.
Preferred Candidate must have proven expertise and at least 1 year of experience in Translation/Language Conversion. There will be an interview round including a test also.

Main Duties
