• Please do Seed treatment with Admire (imidacloprid 70 WS) 10 g/kg of seeds.
• Soil application of phorate 10%CG 10 kg/ha at the time of sowing should be done.
• Total number of shoots and cobs damaged and number of larvae on individual plants should be counted.
• After a severe outbreak, stubble should be ploughed into the soil or burnt to kill any remaining larvae.
