Details of the project: I work with a Christian ministry in the USA who currently has some Gospel literature they would like translated into Nepali. We have at least 6-10 newsletters that consist of anywhere from 2,000 to 6,000, and occasionally more. We may want to have more newsletters translated than this, but this would be to start with.
Special requirements to the applicants: Preferably someone with 10+ years experience in translating from English into Nepali. Has to be native Nepali speaker as well as native English, or at the very least, very fluent in English. Having experience in religious translations as well as a good understanding of Christian terminology would be very good.

Tasks are distributed upon availability and are carried out in a distance-working environment through a specific web interface. Entries are paid through PayPal according to the expertise.
Payment depends on the number of entries created and on the expertise inside the UNLweb. Each entry created corresponds to 1 (one) UNLdot, a unit of time and complexity that measures the effort spent in performing UNLweb-based tasks.
The rates for the UNLdots depend on your level and are informed in the table below. Payment is done through PayPal in the first week of each month (with relation to the previous month), but payment is done monthly only for those who accumulate more than USD100.00 in a month; otherwise, it is done every three months (beginning of February, May, August and November).

To start with, Search Engine plans on localizing the entire site into these languages, and that sums up to about 200K. After all has been localized, we will receive weekly drops for UI with up to 2000 weighted words a week.
We are looking for dedicated, experienced and honest providers as this could be the start of a long term collaboration.
In order to qualify, you must be:
1) A native language speaker having at least 3 years experience in IT/search engine translation.
2) You must also be ONLINE on messengers as often as possible -- and AT LEAST DURING THE JOB. This is so we can check on your status.
3) Sign our contract of collaboration which will protect all parties.
4) Be willing to provide post-delivery quality assurance support to the client pertaining to the output you will deliver.
