Details of the project: Good morning!
We are considering applying for the
currently open call for translations for
the European Parliament. The tender
foresees a test translation, which will
take place on Monday, 17 June 2024, from
10:00 to 11:15. The test
will be carried out in an online tool,
via a browser.
The text for the test is not specific to
European Parliament, it will be a
general text on the field of activity of
the European Union of around 250 words
(e.g. a news on the adoption of new
rules for the protection of personal
data), so
specific knowledge of translating texts
for the European Parliament is not
necessary.
It is however important that the text is
well translated.
In our opinion, this is a test that can
be done by any quality translator. At
the beginning of June we will organise
an online meeting where we will discuss
in detail the instructions and tips for
the test.
We are prepared to pay a fixed fee for
the participation at the test, plus
a bonus for passing the test.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Fluency in Slovene is essential
