Details of the project: Our translation agency is looking for German-Swedish technical translators.
Subject:
The translation of the e-catalog, print catalog and database of our German client in the fields of global connection technology, automation and electronics.
Translation volume:
2500 words/day
Knowledge of CAT tools in general is required! (Across is the CAT tool used for this translation job)
Requirements:
• excellent Swedish language skills (preferably native)
• excellent knowledge of German
• college degree
• reliable MS Office skills
• stable Internet connection
• knowledge of Across is an asset
• At least two years of experience as a technical specialist translator
• technical degree (in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering) is an asset

Project description:
The file types to translate are predominantly created from XML documents. The translations are sent to our client for review in PDF format and the final phase of the translation process is to update the translated files based on the changes made in the PDF documents by our client.
After the evaluation of your application we will ask you to complete a paid test translation.
