My minimum rate is 0.05 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.08 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 10 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 20 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2005.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Subtitling, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

I am a Sri Lankan and my first language is Tamil. I have obtained degrees from Sri Lanka and London. I have two first degrees, two master degrees and three postgraduate diplomas. I am currently a doctoral candidate in Malaysia. Most of my higher studies is in linguistics, applied linguistics and English. The others are education, psychology, counselling and political science.

I have equal fluency in both Tamil and English languages. I have been working as a university teacher for about 15 years, and served as a secondary school teacher for a decade.

In addition, I have served as a teacher and an interpreter in the UK, and still serving as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter with several countries including the UK, the USA, Australia, Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia, India, and Sri Lanka.
