My minimum rate is 0.05 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.07 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 25 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 35 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2007.

I provide the following services: Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Subtitling.

By today, I have translated about 10,000 to 50,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Wordfast, Microsoft Office.

As you will see from my enclosed resume, I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation. I developed my studies in three different universities (Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid, Kingston University, London, and ISIT, Paris), since I consider it is essential for a translator to be familiar with the different cultural backgrounds. I obtained my Translation degree and Interpretation master in Madrid. The excellent education I received enabled me to succeed in the TOEFL exam (113/120), the Fulbright Program, or to be selected for the UN translation and interpretation exams, amongst others.
I am an enthusiastic and persevering person, I have excellent verbal and written communication skills, I am motivated to learn new things, multi-task, well-organized, creative, detail oriented and reliable. I speak five languages and my stays abroad (Russia, Italy, London, Paris, the U.S....) helped me to be an open-minded person with high expectations. My diverse education and work experience make me familiar with idiomatic and formal usage of language, and highly accomplished at handling literal, technical, economical and financial vocabulary. I currently work for an advertising agency, RioGrande Paris, as a trilingual translator. I am also a freelance translator for customers like Sémantis Paris, ITC Traductions, the NGO Entreculturas and the societies Además Eventos y Protocolo, Esmelux, Christian Dior, Tridiom Madrid, Treeloc Barcelona or The Niemeyer Cultural Center. I am specializing in literary translations, since those are the kind of documents I currently translate for Auzou Éditions, Paris.
