Details of the project: We are looking for interpreters who are available for face-to-face court interpreting sessions. You must have the following requirements:
An in-date DBS / CRB certificate. If not, would you be willing to get one to participate in the activities for this client?
Proof of your qualified membership status of a relevant professional body (for example, Chartered Institute of Linguists; Institute of Translation etc.)
Proof of what qualifications for interpreting you have. This could be something like a Diploma in public service interpreting (DPSI), or International School of Linguists (ISL) Level 6, or perhaps a Diploma in Police Interpreting (DPI). Former MET Police Test. Please do inform us of any qualifications you have obtained during your interpreting. This is preferred, but not a necessity.
Located or willing to travel around Newcastle and/or London.
