I am a native Turkish speaker born and raised in Turkey. I received an English-medium high school and university education. I have a BA in English Language and Literature (Boğaziçi University, Istanbul), and an MA in Translation Studies with a focus on Translation of Literary & Social Sciences Texts and Editing. - I received a ÇEVFOR E-certificate upon successful completion of the Applied Formation Training Exam and Certification offered by Anadolu University & Certified Translation Federation-Turkey in 2020. - I successfully completed the Copywriting for Marketing and Advertising Certificate Program offered by Boğaziçi University in 2007. I have worked in various sectors throughout my career, but I specialize in translation and teaching English as a second language. I've been working as a freelance translator (from English to Turkish and vice versa) for the last thirteen years.
