But I prefer to work at 0.05 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 10 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 15 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 1986.

By today, I have translated about more than 1,000,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, SmartCat.

I was born in Cuba in 1960.
In 1979 I moved to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to pursue higher education. In 1986 I completed the full program of studies and graduated as an agrometeorological engineer, with the scientific degree of master of geographic sciences and professor of Russian language at the Hydrometeorological Institute of Odessa, Ukraine.
Between 1986 and 1990 I worked in the Cuban Academy of Sciences and in 1990 I emigrated to the USSR.
Since 1990 I have been living in Odessa province, in the south of Ukraine. I have a wide experience in translation and interpreting work and in the field of international trade, the most important of which I consider the following:
- Representative for Ukraine of the Russian tourist company "Marcuba". I was in charge of customer acquisition, negotiations with local tourist companies.
- Head of import department in VENA joint venture (import – export). Responsible for the translation of technical documentation, customs representation and as interpreter in the relations between the Spanish and Ukrainian founding members.
- Head of import department in the joint venture REAL (import of fabrics from Spain, manufacture and re-export of textile confections),
- Director of the company CEAL Ltd with Spanish capital (import of automobiles and logistics). Translation of technical documentation and legal representation
- Head of logistics department at PIVSIK (import of fruit concentrates from Latin America). Responsible for the negotiation process with suppliers.
- For the last 8 years I have been working exclusively as a freelance translator with different clients from Ukraine, Russia, CIS countries, USA, EU, Turkey. I perform all types of translations: technical, literary, medical, audio and video.


I have 44 years of uninterrupted practice. I can perform translations of any degree of complexity. I translate from Russian and Ukrainian into Spanish.
