My services? Please refer to the above-mentioned. Well, just a brief introduction of myself - I am a certified translator (English-Chinese-English), a translating trainer and a Mandarin teacher who had taught at SMS Saleha Genting Highlands/ Highlands International Boarding School (HIBS) in 2011. Being a word wizard, now at 60, I still enjoy learning despite my age. I do think that diplomas and degrees are the practical norms set by our society, but that does not necessarily reflect the true ability and performance of a translator or teacher. A teacher might know how to teach according to lesson plans but does not guarantee that students will understand what is taught and pass their exams. Undoubtedly, the very first lessons to be taught to the students should be moral values, which is evidently lacking in our youngsters today -- that was what Chinese scholars were taught in ancient China, like filial piety and respect to the elderly and teachers.
