I have over twenty years of experience in translation and education, including 5 years as Lecturer in French and German at the Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology in Ireland and nine years as teacher of French to the upper grades in the French Parish of San Francisco. Recent translation projects have included several educational transcripts and legal documents, birth, death and marriage certificates, probate related documents, divorce papers, guardianship papers, brochures on solar energy, natural healing and massage, several PowerPoint presentations, market research surveys and marketing proposals, as well as business correspondence of various kinds, a sizeable project on chocolate for a major French chocolatier and several hotel websites, menus and recipes. In 2010, I was one of three translators, who translated “Encyclopedia of Cooking” by Patrik Jaros and Günter Beer into US English and localized it for the American market. This cookbook was published by Cambridge Publishing Ltd. I am meticulous, accurate, reliable and creative. I pride myself on never having missed a client's deadline. I am a native speaker of English, was born in Ireland and educated in Ireland, Germany and France. I am currently resident in the United States and translate into both UK and US English.
