I am qualified to degree level in German and Physics and lived for 3 years in Germany and Austria working in tourism (summer and winter). I have a very high level of fluency in German. English is my mother-tongue and I have broad experience of producing professional documentation for a variety of audiences from my work in education leadership where attention to detail and accuracy are vital.
I have many years’ experience of translation work, mostly recent, and have completed assignments in the past in the fields of automotive engineering, business tenders (brick and tile industry), geological reports, maintenance schedules for industrial furnaces , technical specifications, buildings regulations, pharmaceutical documents, contracts and longer projects such as the tendering, construction details and maintenance manual for a gas-fuelled fire brigade training institution, and a sports training manual. In most of these assignments my scientific background proved to be a definite advantage.
I am technically trained, able to meet deadlines and can work in a flexible way. All translations will be done manually, presented and delivered accurately punctually and professionally and no online translation tools will be used.
