I am a sworn translator and possess the relevant certificate. my name appears in the Ministry of Justice Website for Sworn Translators. I sat for my Sworn translator's Examination at the Ministry of Justice in Sri Lanka. I had been working at the Ministry of Justice since 2011 to 2014 in the Hon. Minister's Office. At present I am a Panel Member of the Translators Panel in Sri Lanka Standards Institute. I was appointed as a Penal member of translators in 2014 by the Board of Directors at the interview held. Subsequent to this appointment I was given an assignment to translate their Annual Report for 2013 containing 94 pages. At present I am undertaking their translation assignment as a Freelance translator. Prior to this I had been given an assignment by the Ministry of Economic in Sr Lanka and which article got published in the Tamil Newspaper called Thinakaran. I used to get appointments from Sri Lanka Foreign Ministry also. Recently I got an assignment to translate 5 Beauty Culture books each containing more than 300 pages. I have also worked in a Newspaper office and engaged in a peace project. My work entailed translating the all the News papers on daily BASIS. I did some assignments for book publishers also. For them I translated science books, magazines, and astronomical book. Prior to 2005 I had been working working at Seylan Bank, in the capacity of Secretary. I am a creative writer also. I won prizes for the articles which I contributed to the Bank magazine called Syelan Banker.
