I am a native speaker of Spanish.

My minimum rate is 0.19 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.35 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 8 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 5 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2005.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Voice-over.

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Phrase, Matecat.

I am best in the following fields: Diplomas / Certificates / Etc , General, IT / E-Commerce / Internet, Localization, Medicine (General), Medicine (Health Care), Medicine (Instruments), Medicine (Pharmaceuticals), Psychology, Transport.

I am not a sworn translator.

I am available for work Full week, including weekends.

I can provide you with references on request.

I have a degree in English from Cambridge University and I successfully completed the Literary Translation course given by Cálamo y Cran S.L., as well as a Correction, Style and Variations of the Spanish Language from Barcelona University.

During my professional career I have translated general documents, instruction books, certificates and websites, as well as 18 years working at a hospital combining medical translation with administrative tasks.
I am a certified translator with a few agencies, I have also worked on LQR projects and currently I am a volunteer translator for TWB (Translators Without Borders) with more than 50,000 words donated.

My long work experience in administration combined with translation has enriched my repertoire of day-to-day skills, including excellent communication and a great capacity for motivation, adding to my skills in the following areas:

- Meeting targets and respecting deadlines through proper management of resources.
- Handle computer systems.
- CAT Tools: SDL Trados 2022 (desktop version of my own), Phrase (Memsource) and Matecat.

Translation is for me a wonderful art which is based on READING, CONMPREHENDING and TRANSMITTING. I think language should not be a barrier among people and that’s why I love helping anyone to be opened up to the world by making communication easier. Furthermore, each translation allows me to learn something new and that’s really gratifying for me.
