My minimum rate is 0.12 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.13 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 30 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 25 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 1994.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Tour Guiding, Consulting, Translation and conference interpretation.

By today, I have translated about 50,000 to 100,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, SDL Trados Studio 2019.

I am currently based in Nairobi, Kenya, where I have been working as a PTENG-SPPT and FR>PT translator and interpreter since June 1994 and provide translation and conference interpretation services and have since acquired a solid base of regular clients, mainly international organizations, NGOs, and companies, who recognize the quality of my work. I endeavor to create an excellent working relationship through good communication and mutual respect. My main fields of translation are environmental sciences, finance, technical, and medical. I also have knowledge and experience in the legal and medical industries. Proficiency in MSWord, Windows, and Excel. Highly organized and motivated. Excellent administrative skills. Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Ability and flexibility to work as a team and under pressure, quick adaptation to the work environment, availability to travel, ability to communicate in several languages, computer, languages.
I also provide simultaneous interpretation services at high-level meetings, and this has been very helpful in learning some of the technical aspects of the interpretation field.
