I am a native Portuguese translator, living in the United Kingdom, with expertise in English-Portuguese(EU) Translation and Proofreading. My standard rate per word is 0.04$ for translation and 0.025$ for proofreading (doesn't include machine translation).

I have worked as a translator for 7 years and I am experienced in a wide range of documents and media. My method involves a careful reading and understanding of the original text and its specificities and tone, a devoted research of the topic (in more technical cases), and a thorough revision of the entire project, before delivering the final product. This ensures the best quality of translation, precision and consistency throughout the project.

I have also studied Translation at the University of Lisbon, where I've completed C2 English level and studied Portuguese linguistics as well. I can work with professional software, such as SDL Trados, Wordfast and Spot (subtitling). These are NOT automated translation software. They maintain the exact format and layout of the original document and ensure consistency throughout the entire job.
