I am a freelancer since 2017, translating million of words since that mostly in technical fields - military, IT, technical manuals, metrology. I have been translating as well in French-Canadian for the various Canadian Goverment ministries since 2020.
Before 2017, I was working in a big translation unit, as translator, system manager, or simply preparing files for translation and handling TD and TM for the unit (as I am also trained as programmer). During this time, from 2001 to 2017,
I translated over 7,000,000 words in various subjects - economy, religion, Church literature, IT, company internal policy, communication, management. I did also subtitling and voice over translations.
The list of agencies I have been working with is quite extensive - but those I am still working with are my client since 5-8 years at least, in specific fields – so we established a very reliable trusted relationship between us and thus those agencies continues to use my services.
From 1990 to 2001, I worked mostly in the IT field, as programmer and system administrator - I excel therefore in using the various translation tools and I can translate any file format. I can also make sure that a file is properly prepared to optimize the use of TM, TD, IA and other translation tools.
