But I prefer to work at 0.10 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 20 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 35 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2009.

I started my own part-time translation activity earlier this year as an auto-entrepreneur. As such, I'm a part-time translator for the moment : my working hours are afternoons and evenings during the week.
I'm motivated, hard working and willing to establish long lasting relationships based on mutual trust. Translating is a job I chose because I love languages, I love writing and I much prefer working from home. My aim is to become a full time translator one day and obtain the IoL Dip Trans.

I have studied English into French translation for 2 years (2007-2008) and followed 4 sessions of intensive distant courses from The Bracknell and Wockingham College (UK). These courses are preparing to the IoL Diploma in Translation examination, which I want to re-sit in 2011.
Back in 1985, I passed the Certificate of Proficiency in English and also obtained The Franco British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1987.
I've worked in-house as a bilingual sales administration assistant for more than 15 years within several departments of the Precious Metals Industry. I have had experience with logistics/shipping departments, exports files and would prepare dangerous goods declarations for air/sea/road shipments. I also worked on refining sales administration of spent reforming catalysts.
After this I wanted to start my own business and chose to become a translator.

Having worked on some punctual projects this year, I'm trying to expand and gain regular workflow.
