I am a native speaker of Chinese.

My minimum rate is 0.07 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.07 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 40 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 40 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2006.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Subtitling, Voice-over.

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

I am best in the following fields: Arts and Humanities, Business / Commerce (General), Computer Systems and Networks, Education / Pedagogy, European Union, Finance / Economics, Law (General), Linguistics, Marketing / Market Research, Medicine (General), Music, Travel & Tourism.

I am available for work .

An experienced Translator and Interpreter with clients such as Home Box Office (HBO) and the European Union, I pride myself on the high quality services I provide in a professional and effective approach. While studying at university, I worked as a part time English lecturer for cram schools and also as a private English Tutor for students at different levels. I had been teaching English for students at various levels for over 6 years before immigrating to the UK and pursuing a career in Interpreting and Translating. I was also in charge of recruiting foreign teachers for the education institutes which I worked for. Apart from English, I also learnt Spanish for 3 years and Japanese for 2 years at university.
After getting a Postgraduate Certificate of Translating and Interpreting at Newcastle University, I completed my MA degree in English Language and Linguistics at Newcastle University, where I developed not only academically but also culturally. In addition, I am also an external language specialist assessor for Chinese-English interpreters for the government. I have been appointed to many high profile governmental conferences and council meetings as well as academic symposiums at universities. I also have a large caseload of clients who regularly require an excellent standard of translation, which includes documents such as court orders, business contracts and television subtitles from different geographical areas.
