Qualifications and experience:
I am a native Albanian with 18 years of proven translation experience for the English, Albanian and Italian languages. I am also an official translator for the English - Albanian - English language pairs; accredited by the Albanian Ministry of Justice since 2012. I have lived most of my life in Albania and completed my advanced degree in an English-speaking country graduating in Sociology from CUNY therefore I am well acquainted and understand the cultural nuances of both countries and languages.
I have been working extensively in areas such as social responsibility, labor standards, and business ethics. Experienced in social auditing, particularly for compliance with labor standards and occupational health and safety I have provided consecutive on-site interpreting during social audits in manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites requiring very good knowledge of the terminology in labor regulation, labor standards such as human rights, occupational health and safety, and environmental management systems. Additionaly I have experience translating in domains such as social studies (questionnaires, surveys); books (political history, tales, fiction); legal documents (academic records, legal agreements, apostilles, certificates); hospitality platforms; websites and apps etc.
