Details of the project: We are excited to invite Japanese linguists to collaborate on a unique project with two complementary roles:
Japanese Source Post-Editing – speech-to-text transcripts are generated, and we need a linguist to refine and correct any issues in the Japanese text.
English Adaptation Review – The Japanese-to-English MT output will be reviewed and edited by another linguist to ensure accuracy and fluency.
For this project, each task will be handled by a pair of linguists: one focusing on Japanese transcription review and the other on English translation post-editing.
Rates offered:
Japanese transcription review: USD 0.40 per minute.
English translation post-editing: USD 0.60 per minute.
Assignments will be based on the CV submitted and a short sample, helping us match linguists to the role best suited for their skills.
We are looking to assemble multiple such pairs, as this is a continuous and high-volume project.
We welcome applications from native Japanese linguists, near-native linguists, or English linguists with strong Japanese fluency. Only freelance translators are requested to apply.
