Job description:
1. Task Type: Italian dubbing review – subtitle text and timecode adjustment.
2. Background: Subtitle files are created based on the original video’s audio (timed and translated). After dubbing into Italian, due to differences in expression length and oral adjustments, the subtitles may not fully match the dubbed audio. The task involves reviewing and adjusting subtitles to ensure precise synchronization with the dubbing.
3. Project duration: Long-term. Tasks will be assigned on a monthly basis. The first batch will begin this week.
Translators with stable quality may be considered for fixed, long-term collaboration.
4. Materials provided:
o Input: Dubbed video in Italian + subtitle file in Italian
o Output: Revised subtitle file + issue feedback form
5. Tools: Aegisub or other subtitle editing software
6. Work content:
o Task A – Timecode Adjustment: Ensure subtitle timing is strictly synchronised with dubbed audio (accurate in/out points). Adjust timecodes as needed. No separate log required.
o Translators who can undertake both Task A + Task B will be prioritized.

Special requirements to the applicants: Requirements:
1. Excellent Italian listening, reading, and writing skills; able to accurately identify dubbing issues.
2. Proficiency in Aegisub or similar subtitle software; experience in timecode adjustment preferred.
3. Flexible availability with sufficient spare time; ability to meet deadlines.
4. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to consistently deliver high-quality results.
