Details of the project: Job summary:
The role is a combination of transcreation and copywriting.
You will be responsible for reviewing featured contents and composing texts, taglines and editorial notes for cultural products such as videos, games, podcasts, music albums and playlists etc., as well as translating English copies into mother tongue. Work-related communications will be conducted in English. It is an ongoing project and weekly working hours are relatively flexible. Either part-time or full-time is possible.
Key Requirements:
- Native speaker of Korean with good writing skills, Bachelor's degree and above;
- Excellent English skills (preferably an equivalent of IELTS 7.5 or above);
- Availability during the US business hours (UTC -8:00);
- Responsibility and good time management;
- Extensive knowledge of music, film and the entertainment industry;
- Ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural context as a good team member;
- Ability to follow the schedule and implement plans while paying attention to details;
- Relevant experience is a plus.
Key Accountabilities:
- The copy should be engaging and error-free;
- The spelling and style are correct and consistent;
- Conform to the client’s style guide.
There will be a pre-tryout test to decide whether the candidate's writing style suits the project. We would like to pay a 40 USD bonus to candidates that pass the evaluation.
