We are looking for experienced Portuguese (Africa) and Serbo-Croatian freelance translators to join our team. The ideal candidate must have native-level fluency in both Portuguese (Africa) / Serbo-Croatian and English, as well as a good understanding of the nuances of each language.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to accurately translate documents and written materials from one language to another, while ensuring that the meaning and tone of the source material is maintained. You must also be able to work independently and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Translate written materials from English to Serbo-Croatian and from English to Portuguese (Africa), with accuracy and respect for the tone and meaning of the source material
• Ensure that translations accurately reflect the source material
• Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Review and edit translations to ensure accuracy
• Maintain records of all translations for reference
Requirements:
• Native-level fluency in Portuguese (Africa) / Serbo-Croatian
• 5+ years of translation experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Familiarity with computer-aided translation tools
