Details of the project: We invite native French (dialects of France) speakers to participate in a project to help improve voice recognition devices.
Your recordings will be anonymized.
The voice samples will be used in IT for Machine Learning purposes only, so voices with different characteristics and peculiarities are welcome. No special skill is needed.
The recording can be done with a regular smartphone (you will have to install a special app).
The payment is 25$ for 1 hour, made via Paypal. We expect one speaker to record 4-5 hours of telephone conversations.
For this project you will need a partner to complete the calls. You can call your friends or family directly from the app. Your call must last a minimum of 15 minutes, and may last up to 1 hour. You can talk about any topic you want in French language only and without any third-person interruptions.
You can add multiple contacts and call them as many times as you need to reach the maximum amount of hours; the more phone conversations you complete, the more you earn! Only the caller will be compensated, the person you call is not directly compensated by us. Please note, each participant can only contribute to 5 hours of calls maximum, no matter whether they made the call(s) or received the call(s) or a combination of both.
