Source language(s): English
Target language(s): Chinese
Details of the project: Hi Translator,
We currently have a project on CN - EN editing of machine translated sentences, would like to know if you'd be interested.
Attached are some samples for your reference. Basically, these are pre-translated (by machine/ software) and need to be edited to ensure accuracy, completeness and grammatical correctness. The source sentences are mainly culled online from chat conversations around Chinese speaking countries (China, Taiwan, HK, SG, Malaysia, etc).
The specifics are:
1. To post-edit the English translation of informal Chinese (200,000 sentences).
- Ensuring all content (mostly verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs) in source is translated in the translations.
- Post-editing should mainly be focused on the translated text. No edits are necessary for the source text.
- Ensuring all informal words such as Internet slangs are correctly translated.
- Ensuring that translations for terms like organizations, locations, reflect the official terms and are written in the correct order.
2. Do not reshuffle the sentence sequence.
The rate we're looking at is 0.02 USD sentence (one cell= one sentence)
