Details of the project: We received a new potential project from one of our clients.
• Target: French Canada
• Timeline: 9 week turnaround time with weekly deliveries required
• Volume: Millions of words per language – Expected volume for this pair (2 500 000 words)
• Tool: Memsource – please confirm if you have your own version of Memsource?
• Contents: Easy content, no adherence to terminology or style – the focus on accuracy (please see attached samples). Approx. 20% of volume will be Twitter content, 80% news content.
o Please note: Some files may contain offensive content – slang, bad language etc, especially in the Twitter files. Please check the content, and confirm that you have no issues to translate this type of content
• Quality requirement: Quality framework required for this content is lighter, we have a simplified LQA form with reduced fields and lower pass bar (please see attached file for reference)
• HO and frequency: Main volume will be received in one batch – expected handoff date next week – 9 weeks for completion with weekly deliveries
• Scope: Translation only (50% of the whole volume approx.), MT PE (50% of the whole volume approx.)

Please note, late deliveries cannot be accepted for this project, as we will need to complete weekly handbacks to the client, so ensure that you can meet the capacities indicated.
• Memsource: If you do not have your own license for Memsource, would you be willing to invest? You can download a 30 day trial version initially, but if we confirm we will assign work, can you please confirm if you would be willing to invest in the license.
