We are looking for bilingual Lithuanian/English translators for an upcoming project.
Location: On-line
Estimated weekly hours: 15-20 hours
The Project:
The data (700,000 Lithuanian source words) to be translated have been taken from various online news sources in Lithuanian.
The translated data from this project will be used as training data to develop a machine translation engine. Hence, accurately conveying the meaning of the source text and naturalness in US English is very important.
Requirements:
Lithuanian and English native or near-native level speaker
Confident with US spelling conventions
Very good grammar and spelling skills in target language
Reliable Internet connection
Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a couple of tests.
Preferred Skills:
Professional translation experience and/or degree in translation or linguistics (or related field).
