Special requirements to the applicants: Freelance translators looking to work with Liitrans Translation should meet the following requirements:
1) Native Japanese Speaker: Translated materials should be written in formal, easy-to-understand, and fluent Japanese.
2) English Proficiency: Please provide your language proficiency results.
- TOEIC 930 or over
- TOEFL iBT 100 or over
- IELTS 7 or over
- Lived in an English-speaking country for 5 years or more
- Other equivalent proof of language proficiency
3) Translation Experience: Please provide previous translation samples for initial evaluation.
4) Research Abilities: Translators should be familiar with the terms used in their field of expertise or be able to research and ascertain their word choices are the most commonly used in that particular field.
5) Time Management: Please return all translation projects on time, before the deadline.
6) Detail-Oriented: Please follow the guidelines and requests provided by the customers, such as document formatting and writing styles
