Details of the project: Review the translated files of Waters(Domain:Chemical) localized products. Below are the product lines and review process respectively.
1. Manual - Step 1. Review translated bilingual files (in Trados or exported WORD format). Change comment should be logged to separate LQA excel file.
Step 2. Proofread laid-out PDFs. Change comment should be annotated in PDFs directly. Step 3. Signoff project if all changes are well implemented and verified.
2. Online Help – Step 1. Review translated bilingual files (in Trados format). Change comment should be logged to separate LQA excel file.
Step 2. Proofread compiled Online Help modules.
Change comment should be illustrated in captured screenshots.
Step 3. Signoff project if all changes are well implemented and verified.
3. UI - Step 1. Review translated bilingual files (in Passolo, Catalyst or exported EXCEL format). Change comment should be logged to separate LQA excel file.
Step 2. Run linguistic audit of UI screenshots captured by Waters software Development team. Verify UIs are correctly translated and displayed in context. Change comment should accompany captured screenshots in linguistic audit docs.
We will pay you in hourly rate which is negotiable.
Special requirements to the applicants: 1. Doctor’s Degree or above. Having chemistry background is a MUST.
2. Knowledge on analytical chemistry instruments. Familiar with Waters instruments is a plus. That including but not limited to ACQUITY UPLC, Waters Xevo, Waters Alliance, Waters 2414 refractive index Detector, UV/visible detector, SYNAPT G2/G2-S HDMS.
3. Familiar with Waters informatics software: UNIFI, Empower, Masslynx, etc.
4. Having Waters working experience is a plus.
5. Ability to use CAT tools: Trados, Passolo, Catalyst is a plus.
6. Quick response and full capacity to review in short turnaround time.
