Details of the project: The Language and Cultural Rep II, provides Spanish/English interpreting services in a culturally sensitive manner to facilitate communication at CHLA. Translates all hospital related correspondence, information and documentation.
Special requirements to the applicants: CCHI and ATA Certification required.
CHLA Interpreter Competency Assessment required.
Sample text (50 to 200 words): Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred. Three years experience interpreting and translating in a healthcare setting, including experience working with the community and/or a target language population; including 2 years as a Language and Cultural Representative. Strong translation skills is must.
