Details of the project: Our Christian ministry has evangelical Gospel literature translated into languages across the world.

We are currently trying to get the literature translated into Afrikaans. We are in need of translators with experience in "Sight translating" or "Back Translating."

We are presently working on some Afrikaans translations of Gospel newsletters, and we need some assistance with the editing work.

This phase of the editing process involves a verbal back-translation from Afrikaans into English. The purpose here is to find out from the average reader, the message that is being relayed in the translated Swahili text, to make sure it is the same as the message in the original English text.

Special requirements to the applicants: Someone with experience in verbal translating, for instance, court work, telephone, consecutive, etc

We will pay for this job 15 EUR per hour
