Details of the project: My name is Timmy Tsang and I am an Operations Executive of a Language Service Provider based in Hong Kong. We are currently looking for Simplified Chinese copywriters for an on-going project with a 5-star hotel.
The project consists of drafting a Weibo post covering various briefs / stories that will appear on their official account. There are usually around 20- 30 requests per month and a Weibo post (60-140 characters and sometimes including a link to the story) will be required for each request. While the Client will provide a link/brief of the full content for each story, some minor research may be required to give some background “behind the story”. The briefing provided by the Client will typically be in English.
The Client has requested SAME DAY turnaround and delivery for these requests. Briefs will be submitted by the Client before 11am and a first draft will be required before 4pm. You are also required to be available for revision from 4-6pm (HK time). On some days, more than one story will be required but no more than three will be permitted in one working day.
It is also our policy to include all revisions provided the Client does not alter the original brief. As you build a familiarity with the brand and requirements, we expect that the number of revisions for each request will be minimal.
With regards to writing style, the Client is looking for creative posts that align with the brand’s tone and values. For this particular project, the Client prefers a story-telling approach whereby the writer will look through the information given and be able to find an intriguing and interesting angle to tell the story with clarity and important details included. The tone of voice should be: Elegant, Enchanting, Caring, Trustworthy.
Qualifications:
1. Must be native Simplified Chinese writer
2. Weibo campaign experience
3. Hospitality Experience – preferably with a premium brand.
