Details of the project: Responsibilities:
Responsible for downloading files for localization, editing and validating files when needed, importing localized files, publishing to Web site, and troubleshooting all issues in the process.
Also responsible for scheduling, and providing support to translation vendor’s engineering team, communicating with localization vendors, internal stakeholders, source authors, and offshore publishing team as needed for the production. The contents to publish includes technical documentation as well as marketing material.
Special requirements to the applicants: Requirements:
Several years of experience with Web publishing and production.
Knowledge of HTML, XML, and Frame maker
Familiarity with localization of web pages including file encoding and DBCS issues
Strong trouble shooting skills
Strong project management skills to communicate with different parties in different countries, and to deliver the projects on time.
Capability to work independently without detailed instructions.
Native or near native speaker of Japanese.
Strong business level oral and written English communication skills.
