Details of the project: Are you a Russian–English translator
with a background in all things
technical? Can you work quickly and
accurately, and are confident with
machinery/electronics terminology? Are
you available now? Excellent! Then read
on.
We have a high volume of technical text
(tens of thousands of words) which,
subject to client confirmation, will
need to be translated from Russian into
English. We are looking for two or three
top-notch translators to work on the
text (at a rate of 1,500-2,000 source
words per day), and one editor to ensure
that the translation is correct,
terminology consistent, and that the
text reads well throughout.
Although the text is rather complex,
rest assured that you will be provided
with reference material, and also be
communicating with our assiduous band of
in-house linguists to help you get all
the support and feedback you need, so
you’ll never be working alone.
If this sounds like the kind of project

will ask you to complete a short test,
and if you pass, we’ll assign the
project to you, as well as keep you in
mind for future translations of this
nature. If you specialise in other areas
as well, even better!
(Incidentally, we are also looking to
expand our Russian–English translator
and editor database in general, so even
if your area of expertise does not lie
in machinery, feel free to contact us
anyway, and we can arrange a test in the
subjects you are most familiar with.)
We will pay for this job 30 EUR per hour
