Tranflex is a leading supplier of translation services with its Head Office based in Stockholm, Sweden. The company initiated in 2000 and is continuously expanding. We are currently looking for an additional 2 in-house translators/quality checkers to be based in London or Stockholm.
Our customers are mainly from the IT and technology sector and we currently translate for the likes of Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, CA, MSN, Google, Intel, Novell, Symantec, IBM, Nokia, Sony, Samsung, Oracle, HP, Hitachi, Dell, AOL, LG, Apple, Cisco, Linksys, Canon, Lawson, Siemens, and many more.
Candidates should be native speakers of Norwegian, with a degree in Translation, or possibly Modern Languages. Preferably, candidates should have at least 1 year’s translation experience with good knowledge of translation tools such as Trados, SDLX and Idiom, however, training will be provided to quickly bring candidates up to speed. Solid linguistics skills in Norwegian is a must and candidates will be tested.
Candidates will be translating various types of documents from English into Norwegian. Mostly IT related and they will be required to translate a minimum of 2,000 words a day.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows is a must.
