Details of the project: For translated subtitles from English into the following languages: BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE / CHINESE / FRENCH / GERMAN/ GREEK / HEBREW / ITALIAN / JAPANESE / MACEDONIAN / MOLDOVAN / MONTENEGRIN / PORTUGUESE / ROMANIAN / SPANISH / TURKISH
Our Company, Global Listings, is a market leader in the provision of first-class programme information on behalf of broadcasters – worldwide.
Global Listings operates in 31 languages across 145 countries and is currently expanding its pool of experienced subtitlers for potential future co-operation.
To apply as a subtitler, you must meet the following criteria:
• At least two years of proven experience in the subtitling industry (includes ability to provide completed subtitles fully proofread and with time codes)
• Specialisation in TV or related media
• Computer literacy
• Residency in the country of your mother tongue
• Excellent command of the English language
In addition, please can you also provide the following information along with your current CV for application:
1. A short paragraph detailing your work experience along with details of your pedigree of current or previous clients
2. What rate you charge per minute of subtitling in pounds sterling
3. What, if any, software that you use to produce subtitles, for example Swift or Fab or Wincaps, plus your internet broadband speed, for example 2MB
