The vertical movable-portal milling centre Unimill 60 is equipped with hydrostatic guides on all 4 axes; the gantry-type configuration allows attaining high flexibility in the technical definition of the plant. Therefore, there are no limits in the longitudinal working travel and the plant can be configured with two working stations for loading the workpiece in hidden time: in this case the second working station can be provided with a turning table. On the Unimill hydrostatic gantry machining centre all necessary milling and turning operations are carried out with one set-up only.
Unimill 60 can be equipped with various vertical mechanical milling heads, horizontal indexing ones and heads with two continuous axes to execute the machining of complex components made of materials such as steels and though cast irons
