Details of the project: This is about conducting customer satisfaction surveys with customers of IBM -
All targeted respondents are top level management executives and we will be provided with a software which generates the customer details, a calling system and also the system itself will generate the questionnaire - by opening up the survey on browser.
So - the positives here are a lot - this is the first project we're working on with hourly billing system - all market research projects are paid for the number of surveys we conduct; And in all those cases, the approach would be cold calling - but in this case, all targeted respondents had been informed through a written letter mailed over.
There is no pressure on us in terms of the number of surveys to complete, but we're expected to spend the maximum time possible and call all the numbers provided by the system - and follow the protocols on the job - while speaking with the respondents and in using the tool/software;
Now- this is how we need to start - download the software - then, open up the survey links.. to get familiar with the questionnaire - and then, do a test call. (which in this case is omitted - as we'd be proceeding using an approved log-in)
I'll guide you with the system set up and in generating the survey links.. and then, you can open up the questionnaires twice to understand the flow of questions..
The client wants to be sure that the respondents are being approached by natives, that they won't have problem understanding the language or accent; and the focus of this project is not on the number of surveys we conduct, even though its important, but on trying to call all the numbers the client has and in dealing with the respondents very politely and professionally, so there won't be any instance where they'd feel that we're insisting or get offended in anyway - the reason being - IBM has longstanding relationship with these respondents as its customers...which is the main reason why there is no pressure at all on the number of surveys we conduct.
And all records/numbers called should be properly disposed, with a proper disposition code - and all calls will be made from the software only.
For the software to work- the system needs a headset with USB connector.
I believe the software tracks the number of hours logged - but we're asked to manually keep track and report on a daily basis.
