Details of the project: We are seeking Pashto/Dari speaking U.S. citizens who speak, read, and write both Pashto and Dari, to help in rebuilding Afghanistan. This challenge requires superb professionals that are willing to assist and support the U.S. Government and the U.S. Military. Linguists will interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences. You will also translate and review written documents and analyze spoken communications. Torres is one of the leading Linguist Firms that currently supports some of the most recognized U.S. Leaders. You will provide operational Pashto language support to U.S. Army linguist operations in Afghanistan. Provide general linguistic support for military operations. Interpret and translate written and spoken communications. Transcribe and analyze verbal communications. An excellent command of Pashto and Dari as well as strongverbal and written American English skills. You must hold a current U.S. passport and you’re original naturalization certificate. You must be willing to travel/deploy/work in Afghanistan on a one-year contract..
