English to Irish translator in telecommunication field needed: Job 00005970

Details of the project: We currently require 1 English to Irish translator who are able to translate telecommunication material and 1 English to Irish proofreader that is able to proofread telecommunication material. Total 9861 words.

We are looking for translators with extensive experience of translating telecommunication material to work with us on this ongoing project. Translators must have Trados version 6.5 or above and TagEditor. Translators will also be required to carry out a short test translation.

Special requirements to the applicants: Degree-level or equivalent education
At least 3 years proven professional experience in translation
Expertise in at least one technical specialist area (i.e. Mechanical Engineering)
Translator's target language must be your native language*
Translators must have resided in your mother-tongue country(target language) within the last 5 years prior to application
