Details of the project: ILT has been providing
localisation, translation, editing, copywriting, DTP,
project management and internationalisation services since
1996. Starting out as a single language vendor for Italian,
today ILT is a SAP certified company with offices in the
UK and Italy and is rapidly evolving into a company that
offers complex, integrated linguistic services in several
languages in the fields of finance, law, tax, banking, ERP,
life science, new technologies and marketing. We offer
services to a broad group of clients: major domestic and
international companies, medium-sized enterprises, banks
and government institutions.
To meet a constant growing request from our customers, we
are looking for 2 talented in-house translators for German
and English into Italian.
Responsibilities: As a translator you guarantee the
quality of our translated products, translating and
reviewing a variety of material, including documentation,
Web sites, or software, as well as carrying out
terminology management and quality assurance.
Main fields of expertise required include: finance, law,
tax, banking, ERP, life science, new technologies and
marketing.
The ability to deal with other fields to is deemed an
important plus.
Skills/Qualifications
Italian mother tongue with perfect command of written
mother tongue.
Excellent English and German written and verbal skills.
University degree (or higher qualification) in translation
Specialization in one of the above mentioned areas
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational
skills.
Experience of Microsoft Office applications and
computer-aided translation technologies.
Professionalism, adherence to deadline and accuracy are a
must.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced
environment.
Ability to quickly acquire new expertise.
Understanding of business processes would be advantageous.
