We are looking for a German
translator to work on a freelance basis. Most of our jobs
are small to medium in size and require quick turnaround
times. Unless the text to be translated is of a highly
specialized nature, successful applicants are given the
opportunity to work in a wide variety of fields.
Translation services will be paid at market rates in
accordance to our standard calculation methods; your price,
quality, the volume of work you can produce, and meeting
agreed upon deadlines are important factors in the ongoing
selection process. Your quoted price is a key factor in
establishing whether or not you are considered to go
through our recruitment process.
Please answer the questions listed in the questionnaire.
Should your qualifications and rates meet our initial
screening criteria, you will be given 1 workday to
complete a 1-page translation test containing five
paragraphs in distinctly different subject matters.
We thank you for your interest in working with All
Languages Ltd and hope to commence a mutually beneficial
working relationship.
Fill out a Questionnaire
1. What is the average number of words you can produce per
diem?
2. What is your rate per word?
3. Please specify the currency in which your rate per word
is quoted.
4. Which translation tools, if any, are you using?
5. Can you provide certified or notarized translations
attesting to the accuracy of your work, and if so which?
6. Are you interested in writing a 1-page translation test?
(You will not be considered if the answer is <no>)
Deadline for applying: 12/31/08
