Job Description:
The team at Lionbridge Technologies with solution centres in 25
countries worldwide is recruiting part-time self-employed workers
who are fluent speakers in English and are based in Nigeria to
join its team of Web Evaluation Raters.
The main aim of the work is to improve the quality of a search
engine’s results for all web users worldwide. The work involves
(1) accomplishing a set of Tasks through a search engine, (2)
evaluating results achieved for their suitability to the search
query (3) providing feedback i.e. your opinion of the result
displayed.
The hours are flexible to fit around your family and home life,
and the position is ideal for someone looking for a work-life
balance (10-20 hours per week).
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English is essential
- We are seeking people who have access to the internet, and are
confident in using the Internet
- Background in IT is helpful but not essential
- For cultural and historical awareness purposes you must be
resident in Nigeria for 5 consecutive years
